Coulee Family Services offers wheelchair accessible transportation for individuals and families in southern Alberta as well as our own home care clients. We will transport you and/or your family member to where you need to go, whether to the grocery store or a doctor’s appointment in Calgary. While we cater to those requiring wheelchair access, our service is available to anyone that would benefit from fully accompanied service. Our service goes beyond “door to door” and supports the client wherever they need to go in an out of the vehicle – a caregiver service and transportation service – in one.

Our service is ideal for:
- Those that require wheelchair accessible transportation outside of town/city limits where public transit does not go
- Those that require accompaniment services (Eg. Assist with appointment check-in, notetaking during appointment, consultation with professionals, information communicated back to family or caregiver)

- Daytime Rate – $36/hr
- Evening/Weekend Rate – $42/hr

“My brother is 94 years old and immobile. I had to take him to Lethbridge Hospital from Taber for some tests and radiation. I was so grateful to Coulee Family Services that they had a wheel chair accessible van to take him and bring him back. They waited until he was done to bring him back. If I couldn’t have gone they would have stayed with him and wrote notes from the doctors to bring back. As I live in Calgary all these services were such a comfort to both me and my brother.
